Congratulations to Quarneshia for successfully graduating from Shelby County Drug Court! 🎉

At Roots Recovery Housing, we are incredibly proud of this achievement. Drug Court is not an easy journey — it requires commitment, accountability, and the courage to keep moving forward even when the path is difficult.

Quarneshia showed up, did the work, and stayed committed to her recovery. Watching her reach this milestone has been inspiring to everyone around her.

Her roommate had hoped to be there to celebrate with her but was unexpectedly picked up on old charges she didn’t know were still pending. Moments like that can easily derail someone’s progress, but at Roots we believe recovery happens best when people are supported, not abandoned.
We held her bed, supported her through the process, and welcomed her back home so she could continue moving forward in her recovery.

That’s what community looks like.

At Roots, we believe every woman deserves the opportunity to rebuild her life — and sometimes that means standing beside someone when life throws unexpected obstacles their way.

Today we celebrate Quarneshia’s hard work, perseverance, and the bright future ahead of her.
We are so proud of you, Q. 💛
